Survey, followed by focus groups, on improving public transport in Somerset County

WESTOVER – Somerset County Local Management Board is working with BEACON at Salisbury University to understand and study community needs and access to public transport.

The process begins with a survey, and there are two focus group sessions coming up, one in Deal Island and one in Crisfield.

Somerset County residents aged 18 and over are invited to complete the survey at https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/SCLMBstudy and you could win a $25 Visa gift card.

“Your input is important to the success of this pilot study in Somerset County,” said a BEACON representative. “The survey is available online and will only take a few minutes of your time.”

The focus groups will be 90 minutes long, the first at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, November 15 at Deal Island Elementary School. The second will begin at 5:30 p.m. and will be held on Wednesday, November 16 at the Crisfield Public Library. Light refreshments will be provided and all attendees will be entered for a chance to win one of two $25 gift cards for their time.
