PETERBOROUGH — The ConVal School Board Strategic Planning Committee invites community members to participate in focus groups to help the ConVal School District develop a new strategic plan.
The nine focus groups will gather feedback on the strategies and long-term goals most important to community members. The feedback gathered will help the district shape a strategic plan that reflects community priorities.
The focus groups are open to all stakeholders – parents/guardians, students, staff and residents of Conval’s nine sending communities.
“We thank the many community members who have expressed interest and shared their ideas through the strategic planning process thus far,” said school board chair Tim Therberge. “Feedback from families, students, staff and residents is essential in developing a plan that aligns with community priorities. We ask for their continued help through these focus groups. »
Community members can register for one of the following sessions:
- Monday March 7: 3:30-4:45 p.m., 5:00-6:15 p.m. or 6:30-7:45 p.m.

Strategic plans act as a roadmap for the district to follow for a five-year period, highlighting specific projects and goals for long-term sustainable growth. The most recent strategic plan was created in 2016 and lasted until June 2021.
A draft strategic plan is expected to be completed by June 2022. The plan will be reviewed by the school board and implemented upon approval.
