Agoda Announces 2022 Customer Review Awards


The Agoda Customer Review award is given based on genuine customer reviews based on key criteria such as cleanliness, facilities, location, room comfort, quality, service and value for money.

Digital travel platform Agoda, with over 35 million customer reviews on the platform, presented its 2022 Customer Review Awards to over 36,000 establishments in over 150 markets [including India]. Data from Agoda’s Usage and Attitude Research shows that 84% of travelers worldwide read online reviews before deciding where to stay when travelling. For hoteliers and accommodation partners, these reviews provide essential information about benchmark services and provide improvements.

The Agoda Customer Review Awards are given to hotel and accommodation partners who have provided exceptional customer service, including exceptional pricing and availability. The United States leads the market this year with 7,015 properties represented, followed by Thailand (4,343), Indonesia (2,590), Japan (2,053) and India (1,948) .

Bangkok tops the list of winning destinations with 681 properties, followed by Bali (579), Paris (498), Chiang Mai (479) and Phuket (451) rounding out the top five. This year, globally, Asia tops the regional rankings with 18,670 properties represented, followed by Europe and North America in second and third place, respectively.

Customers can filter their reviews in several ways, including score, timing, reviewer demographics, and language, to discover the one that best suits their needs.
