Call for contributions for BIG Conference 2010

We're proud to announce the call for contributions for BIG Conference 2010. The overall theme is "Back to Black? Prospects for B2B Research" with speakers covering what progress has been made over the last year and what the prospects for the coming years are shaping up to be. Are we out of the woods or still lost in a thicket? What will the post-recession world look and feel like? Is it all hype or will some things have changed for good?

The popular BIG Summer party and Conference Awards was held on July 23 aboard HMS Belfast. Once again it was a very successful evening which saw Catherine Shovlin, Jonathan Fletcher, Matthew Burn and Nick Bassett receive awards for their papers at this year's BIG Conference.

The 2009 BIG AGM was held on June 2nd before the last Forum meeting of the current session. Trevor Wilkinson (Chair) and Sonya Graneek (Treasurer) conducted the meeting and presented charts outlining BIG's achievements in 2008 and the financial report for the year.

Claire Labrum, Nick Thomas and Gailynn Nicks - all long standing BIG committee members - stood down at the AGM at the beginning of June. BIG would like to thank them for all their hard work and commitment over the years. We are happy to welcome to the committee Ben Hogg (e-Rewards), Sarah Penny (Hasson Associates) and Pravin Shekar (Dexterity) and look forward to putting them to work on your behalf!
