Call for contributions for BIG Conference 2010

BIG Conference 2010

For those who come year in year out, BIG has to be the industry’s best kept secret. Why? Perhaps because, as one of our delegates told is, "BIG is the friendliest conference on the circuit." Or is it that we've been gradually honing what another our called our "winning formula": great B2B-oriented content in convivial surroundings with networking that’s second to none?

We're proud to announce the release of the Call for Contributions for 2010. The overall theme is "Back to Black? Prospects for B2B Research" and we'll be inviting speakers to consider what progress has been made over the last year and what the prospects for the coming years are shaping up to be. Are we out of the woods or still lost in a thicket? What will the post-recession world look and feel like? Is it all hype or will some things have changed for good?

In addition to the existing formats this year will feature:

  • The newcomers session: an opportunity for younger researchers who've never presented at conference before, to let us know why B2B research is a great place to be in 2010
  • The BIG time machine: many of the jobs we find ourselves doing simply didn't exist 10 years ago. What will the world of research look like in 10 years time? We want presenters to take us on a journey in the BIG time machine and paint a picture of the world in 2020.

The conference will take place on 19th-21st May 2010 - please note changed dates. We will be returning to the Marriott St Pierre in Chepstow for one final year.
