Email :This year's BIG Summer Event and BIG Conference Awards ceremony will take place on board the HMS Belfast on Thursday 23rd July, starting at 6.30pm and ending at 11.00pm - the awards ceremony will be at 8.30pm. As well as a chance to network, all food and drink will be included in the price of the ticket.
The cost of the event is £30 for members of BIG and £35 for non-members, inclusive of vat. we are restricted to 100 attendees, so please book early to avoid disappointment.
Seldom will you find a venue as unique as HMS Belfast. She was launched in March 1938 and served throughout the Second World War, playing a leading role in the Battle of North Cape and in the Normandy Landings. She later supported UN forces in Korea and remained in service until 1965. In 1971 she was saved for the nation as a unique reminder of Britain's Naval Heritage. HMS Belfast is now owned and managed by the Imperial War Museum and is a popular tourist attraction permanently moored between London and Tower Bridges.
