Email :Please join us for what promises to be a fascinating 20 April Forum meeting on Talent Development - what's new and what can you do - presented by Danny Wain of Daniel Wain Consulting.
When credit crunched, we witnessed the drastic devaluing of all our sacred currencies: stocks, shares, land, property. All bar one: human capital continued to increase in value throughout the recession. Which ought to be great news for a ‘people’ business like ours.
But how do you keep ahead of the competition, recognising the value of people whilst minimising the cost of talent development? Danny Wain will show you how to make a start, by revealing the most recent developments in the world of HR and learning & development (L&D), including blended learning, employer branding and measuring return on investment.
Worldwide Director of L&D at Research International until 2007, and before that a quantitative researcher, Danny has over 20 years’ experience in our industry. Now a successful L&D consultant, trainer and coach, he is also a well-established conference speaker and writer on ‘people’ and ‘talent’ issues.
BIG members enjoy free admission to evening meetings. Non-members are welcome for a small fee of £5. For our normal evening meetings, there is no need to pre-book. Just turn up on the night and feel free to bring a colleague (or two). Unless stated, we meet at 6.00 for drinks and nibbles prior to a 6.30 start.
